All Things Anime!

Hey guys,
 
I noticed this T.V section and thought I'd knock this down your throats. Anime. I'm sure you all know of it, but I still think we out to have a thread specifically for it!

Basicly anime is: Japanese movie and television animation, often having a science fiction theme and sometimes including violent or explicitly sexual material
Anyways guys, this is here for you to post your favorite series, openings, and fanart in general, along with any comments about Anime in general so..ye

Yeah, how about no. When people ask me if I watch anime I never say yes, and then go to saying I watch Pokemon. Because for me it is kinda a cheap move. Just about everyone at some point watched pokemon so for me it doesn't really count. It is the same thing as if somebody said, "Do you like the Beatles?" and then someone responded with, "Yah I love Here Comes The Sun". Everyone knows that song so if the person can't name any other songs they probably aren't TRULY a fan of the beatles and have only scratched the surface. So that's my view on it. I don't watch anime but, after I finish the manga, I plan on watching Cowboy Bebop.

I do see what you mean, but I just plainly like Anime, I can't seem to get enough of it.Why? Because I can OK!?

I grew up in and around Japan, and it might be that it was the only cartoon style there but man am I sick of it all. The oversized eyes, massive heads, incredibly odd way of speaking, I can handle little bits at a time, But not all Anime, all the Time.
The more Americanized it is, (and I hate to say it) The easier it is for me to watch.
I know, That isn't fair because there's a lot of interesting, well written stuff out there, Ex: Titanfall, Cowboy Bebop (both things you should check out) but then there are things that are just annoying.
I know it isn't fair, but you know when you're around something 24/7 and it just gets annoying?
