Saving Mr. Banks

I am currently in L.A. and decided I'd go out and see this new Hanks and Thompson movie about the making of Marry Poppins called Saving Mr. Banks. From the trailers I thought it looked O.K. but I must say it did exceed my expectations. This movie has a very interesting plot that is based off (hollywood style) the reluctant author of Marry Poppins giving the rights to her book to Walt Disney. With great acting performances and lots of fun moments this movie can make you smile, laugh, cringe (in a good way), tear up, and gasp in the same cohesive work of art. While at some moments the movie can get a little corny and un realistic it tends to be pretty solid in its entirety. The soundtrack of course was very fun and a lot of the camera work is interesting. I'd reccomend seeing this film and will give it a 4/5.
